in april 2025, small house officially reopened in ockelbo, with the first salonul magic event since 2014.
with mircea modreanu and george buca, the barn in the field was renovated and cleaned up, and the travelling exhibition etaj on wheels was installed there, featuring a number of upcoming romanian artists.
erik’s ‘raw materials’ suite was live-coded, a performance that has since been released as the first new small house album since 2015.
the neighbors joined for a slightly windy spring evening in the field, with art, music and romanian food.
the small house logo was painted on the barn door, marking the return of small house.
